Josh Brickey
I have been active in the marching arts since I was 14 years old. During my marching career, I performed in groups such as Carolina Crown, The Bluecoats, Trinity Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and Rhythm X. In all the time that has followed, I have served in many different roles in the activity, including snare tech, battery arranger, and percussion caption head. I am currently the Percussion Caption Head at The Cavaliers, and I have spent every season working with Rhythm X since 2007. In the past, I have been grateful to work with many groups such as The Bluecoats, Carolina Crown, The Crossmen, Centerville HS, Tarpon Springs HS, Carmel HS, William Mason HS, Kettering-Fairmont HS, Miamisburg HS, the Miami University Marching Band, Triple Crown, Cap City, and more.
I remain incredibly active in publishing battery exercises, battery etudes, full pre-made and custom shows, and more through Plus 1 Designs, the online educational resource I have co-owned and operated since 2015. I continue to publish music on other platforms, as well, including TapSpace and Music Chunks.
I am proud to be partnered with both Innovative Percussion, Zildjian Cymbals, and Pearl/Adams as an educational artist.
